Not thrilled with the phrasing of “probably still kind of radioactive” in panel 11.

“I woke up this morning and I just hated everything.”

Well I just looked at the front page of my site, and I think I had one of those moments.

The PW ad to the right? Yeah fuck that thing. I’ve recently gotten into even more of a “fuck advertisements they’re annoying” mood than I normally am. I’m going to replace it with… something I hate less. At some point. Right now having an ad there looks slightly less terrible than just a big empty space.

The white and silver color scheme? Seriously, what the hell was I thinking. My website looks like an iPhone. This shit needs a different pallet. I think I’ll go back to older-style BES blue.

In the past I’ve been asked a couple times why I don’t have the latest comic display on the front page. The reason is because my comics are huge and I’d rather the news post(s) be the first thing you see. But I’m starting to feel like not having some kind of image on the front page makes it feel kind of empty? The one-panel preview to the left doesn’t count.

Bleh. If I was better at this stuff I’d just throw it all away and rebuild from scratch. I kinda miss having a hand-coded thing made with just HTML tables.

But, hey, questions, comments, and concerns regarding site stuff is always appreciated. Oh, and I’m still not dead.

I actually shot this one a couple weeks ago… couldn’t find the motivation to put it together and post it though.

I was going to write a long rant about the metric system, but I couldn’t find a way of phrasing the argument that didn’t make me look like an idiot. So let me just say fuck the metric system.
